| The Vikings have lost their starting cornerback for the rest of the season to another significant knee injury, coach Brad Childress confirmed Tuesday. Griffin hurt his right knee early in the fourth quarter Monday night against the New York Jets, and he won’t return in 2010.

Even when Cook returns, the Vikings could use some more depth. “He’s a good football player. He’ll be sorely missed here,” Childress said.
