That night, at the Villains tribe, Russell and Rob had a conversation. Russell wanted Rob to believe he wasn’t going after him. Meanwhile, Rob tried to make Russell paranoid about his position in the game so he would play the Hidden Immunity Idol. Russell denied having the Idol, but claimed that he would keep looking for it if he got another clue.
In the showdown between Rob and Candice, it was Rob who won hot dogs and soft drinks for his tribe.

Colby or James?
The Heroes and Villains were surprised by a Double Tribal Council and an Individual Immunity Challenge. Two vulnerable castaways saved themselves by winning Immunity [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], leaving others to take the fall. Here’s how it all went down:
For the Villains, Sandra and Jerri struggled from the start. Eventually, it came down to a battle between Rob and Tyson, who won the same challenge during Survivor: Tocantins. This time [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it was Boston Rob who emerged victorious.
After the Heroes’ fourth Tribal Council, Candice reflected on her decision to vote off Tom over James. She did this to avoid making enemies in the tribe [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but knowing that Candice had plotted strongly against James, Amanda still planned to make Candice the next target.
The tribes received Treemail for the next challenge, and Colby wondered whether James would be able to compete, saying that eventually there would be a challenge that James couldn’t do.

Candice’s Choice
The Strategy Begins
At the Heroes camp, Colby was not pleased with his challenge performance. Even James beat him. Colby told his tribe that he knew he was going home and not to scramble before Tribal Council. He also warned them not to give any information to the Villains when they got to observe during Tribal Council.
Amanda and Candice took early leads for the Heroes. Later, James, even with an injured leg, overtook them briefly. In the end, Candice won and according to JT, saved herself from going home.
Back at camp, the Villains Tribe (excluding Russell, Parvati, and Danielle) decided to vote for Parvati but make it look like Russell would be going home. This would force him to play the Idol. Coach was in the middle because Russell had shown him the Idol and offered him an alliance previously, but he decided to stick to the word he had given Boston Rob and Tyson.
For the challenge, each castaway would be attached to a long rope which was tangled around obstacles. They would have to crawl over and under obstacles to the finish line. The first to reach the finish line from each tribe would win Individual Immunity. Then the two winners would square off to win hot dogs and soft drinks for his/her tribe, which the tribe would enjoy as they listened in on the other tribe’s Tribal Council.
Rob once again warned Russell that he needed to play the Idol. Russell realized his tribemates were going to flush out the Idol and vote for Parvati. He told Parvati and Danielle to vote off Tyson and he would give Parvati the Idol to save her.
Reward/Immunity Challenge
As the Heroes and Villains assembled at the challenge beach, they were surprised to learn that instead of competing against one another, members of the same tribe would compete against each other for Individual Immunity. To make matters worse, both tribes would be going to Tribal Council and voting someone out.
