I've always considered myself a dab hand at DIY. When it comes to drawing and decorating, I've forever undertaken the work myself. I've carried out some quite shifty work in the quondam including arranging my own patio and installing French skylights and I've saved a small fortune over the years. Things began well. I'd been quite cautious marking out exactly where I wanted the arch to go, and how high I ambitioned it. I also had a semi round chip of chipboard made up for the arch. I used my measurements and pencilled in the archway, and decided to bound straight in. I used my jigsaw to track onward the pencilled line and this guide directly to my 1st important catastrophe! I hadn't realised just how tough it would be for me to use my Jigsaw at such a altitude, and unfortunately I didn't have the strength or dexterity to retain my perfectly bent line!
When I had slit out a cloud of the archway, it was remove that I might for well have left the spirit level in the garage! Being the stubborn male I am, I decided to proceed, persuading myself that it would be effortless to touch up my botched exertion once I had created the hole. Unfortunately I not got as far for creating the hole, for the quite last operation with my Jigsaw was to cut straight through some wiring! Darkness emulated, and I decided it was time to give in.
Needless to say a vocational was shrieked in, and an entangling conversation and a thousand pounds after, I had the Archway I had imagined of!
