One player had his account hacked recently, and he see their were a lot of threads complaning how long it is taking for them to get their account back,so he shared his expierence and hopefully help some of you who need questions answered. So basically he sent in a ticket, this was the most annoying part, it took them a 7-9 days to sort this out and he actually only just got my master acocunt back today. He checked his Aion status page and found Status; Banned,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so i got in contact again and within 20 mins i recieved a reply (which was quick). After they told him to make sure he had no viruses,keyloggers etc they told him to reset his AION account password ( even when its still banned) They then reviewd the situation and he got this reply: Hello, We have investigated this compromised account issue and found that a virtual property seller (real market transaction/RMT) group somehow gained access to the account and used it to further their interests. After reviewing this case we have re-opened the account. Please be advised that if the account is compromised again in the future and used for these activities it may be closed again. Because these individuals have accessed your account, it is now a security risk. We are taking steps to reduce the likelihood of having to close the account again and have commented your account as such.
However, the security of your account is your responsibility, and we ask that you take every precaution to secure your account, so that it is not accessed again by another person. We also recommend that you steer clear of visiting shady sites and clicking on potentially malicious ads or links promising free virtual goods of any kind.
Please make certain that you are not using any third-party programs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], modifying your game client, or any other 'illegal' action. Some common activities that may also show up in this detection include: buying Kinah from a third party company, using a 'Power-leveling' service, acting as a courier for virtual currency sales companies, advertising in-game for those companies, sharing your account, or having a hacked account. Many of these 'other' activities can happen if your account has been 'phished' by visiting an unauthorized website and entering your login name and password. Be patient, it took him 1 week + for a reply, and it doesn't matter how many petitions you put in. 3. Don't be alarmed if you find your AION account banned, it was probably due to Gold Sellers using your acocunt to advertise. 4. Be respectful, when you send E-Mails and petitions remember these are people you are talking to,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and as much as you are pissed off they are only human. 5. Since your account got hacked there is a chance you may have a keylogger, so make sure to either scan or do a FULL reformat like i did to minimise the risk of your account being re-stolen.
